FAQ

Providing the direct care you need for your family.

The Direct Primary Care “DPC” model offers a modern take on the best parts of traditional medicine. DPC provides direct access to your doctor through text, email and phone calls. When you join Blue Mantle Medicine, you become part of a streamlined approach to exceptional medical care with a personalized experience. DPC means peace of mind and includes:

  • In-person medical visits in your own home (within our service area)
  • Telemedicine visits
  • Wellness exams/physicals
  • Problem/sick care
  • Facilitating consultations with specialists
  • Managing care with ER or hospital admissions
  • Evaluation of more complex problems including coordination of labs and imaging
  • An advocate who will help navigate your health care journey

Direct Primary Care “DPC” is direct patient-to-physician primary care with a comprehensive, practical approach. With us, we will be your first point of contact when you have questions or concerns. Instead of bouncing from one health care provider to the next, you will have a special relationship with your own personal physician.

  • Home visits are great for families with multiple children.
  • A flat membership rate means no surprise costs.
  • Studies have shown that DPC patients spend more time with their doctors and make fewer visits to the Emergency Room.

DPC is about providing exceptional medical care, building a genuine relationship with your doctor, and enabling you to make better healthcare choices.

Patients and their families benefit from direct access, personalized care, shorter wait times and less ER referrals.

We maintain an intentionally small practice to ensure a high level of medical care and attention to detail.

We have a limited number of memberships available for a monthly fee (based on age). The monthly fee can often be covered by your flexible savings or health savings account (check with your plan administrator). Included in your membership are wellness checkups, a certain number of telemedicine visits & in-person medical visits, and direct access to your doctor. Further details will be reviewed at the initial meet and greet visit.

You do not need insurance to join. We serve everyone, regardless of insurance status. We strongly recommend that patients still have insurance for lab tests, imaging, medications, vaccinations, specialist referrals, and emergencies such as an ER visit or hospital admission. Patients will not have have any hidden costs and often can save a significant amount avoiding unnecessary medical visits.

At this time, we cannot accept any patients with a government-issued insurance plan, such as Medicaid, Medicare, TRICARE or other government insurance carriers.

Please complete the online contact form to schedule a virtual meet-and-greet.
