At This Time, Dr. Marguerite Duane Is Not Accepting New Patients

Dr. Marguerite Duane, a board-certified family physician, is delighted to care for patients of all ages through her direct primary care house-calls based practice, MD for Life. In addition to providing the full range of family medicine services, she is passionate about caring for couples with fertility issues and working with women to address the root causes of hormonal health concerns. She is licensed to see patients in Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia and Pennsylvania.

Dr. Duane is also co-founder and Executive Director of FACTS about Fertility, an organization dedicated to educating medical professionals and students about the scientific evidence supporting fertility awareness-based methods (FABMs). She serves as an Associate Professor at Duquesne University and Georgetown University, where she directs an elective on FABMs and their role in women’s health and family planning. She is grateful to all her patients who welcome students to observe their visits.

Dr. Duane received her Medical Doctorate degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and completed her Family Medicine residency at Lancaster General Hospital in Pennsylvania. In May 2022, Dr. Duane completed a primary care research fellowship at the University of Utah earning a Master of Science in Public Health. She received her Bachelor of Science with Honors and a Master of Health Administration degree from Cornell University.

Dr. Duane is delighted to be accompanied on this life’s journey by her husband and fellow family physician, Dr. Kenny Lin, and they are the proud parents of four truly amazing children.
